Draft a Consumer Protection Act Demand Letter under Mass. Gen. Law Ch. 93A

Proposal Title:
Draft a Consumer Protection Act Demand Letter under Mass. Gen. Law Ch. 93A
Proposed Fee:
$50
Scope of Work:
I will draft and send on your behalf, via certified mail, a 93A Demand Letter to a business that has taken unfair advantage of you, demanding that they redress your grievance within 30 days or become subject to treble damages and attorney fees under Mass. Gen. Law Chapter 93A. Chapter 93A, also known as the Consumer Protection Act, is Massachusetts catch-all law to protect consumers against "Unfair and Deceptive Business Practices". The trick to taking action under this statute is to send what lawyers call a 93A Demand Letter, which must follow specific rules, demanding the business make things right with you. If the business fails to respond properly in 30 days, you can then sue under Chapter 93A and ask for damages up to three times the amount the unfair or deceptive business practice originally cost you, AND you can ask the court to make them pay back the amount it cost you to get satisfaction in court... including your lawyer fees.
